The GDS-Movement (Global Destination Sustainability) unites and enables destination management professionals to create flourishing and resilient places to visit, meet, and live. Meet in Reykjavik is a founding partner of the GDS-Index. The City of Reykjavík has maintained a top 10 GDS ranking since its launch in 2016.
The GDS-Index enables us to drive progress in the sustainable development of our destination by engaging industry stakeholders, the local community, and the government. As part of the GDS-Movement, we are part of a destination network striving for the long-lasting sustainability of the sector. In doing so, we continue to grow together, share best practices, and celebrate success.
